Frequently asked questions
Can I schedule work for a team?
Yes. The dispatch board gives every engineer a column and keeps unscheduled jobs in a rail beside it, so you drag work onto the right person and the right day. There is an Unassigned column for work that is booked in but not yet handed to anyone.
Does it sync with Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect Google Calendar, pick which calendar to write to, and your VioTrade events are pushed into it. You choose how much shows: full details, just the name and time, or Busy only. It is one-way, so nothing in your diary is changed by what happens in Google.
Can I see my jobs in my phone's own calendar?
Yes. The app can mirror your diary into the calendar app on your iPhone or Android, with the same choice of how much detail is shown. Only your own events are mirrored.
Can two people be on the same job?
Yes. A diary event can be assigned to more than one person, and each of them sees it in their own view and in the team columns.
