Which certificates can I issue?
Gas: landlord / homeowner gas safety record (CP12), boiler and appliance service record, gas warning notice, and an installation and commissioning record. Electrical: EICR, Electrical Installation Certificate, Minor Works and PAT. Fire and security: fire alarm inspection and service, emergency lighting periodic inspection, and intruder alarm service. You choose which ones appear.
Will it remind me before a certificate expires?
Yes, and this is the part most job software leaves out. Each certificate carries its own renewal period, and you get an email and a phone notification 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before it runs out, so you can book the revisit while there is still time.
Can I fill one in with no signal?
Yes. On the phone a certificate is written to the app itself, so a basement or a plant room is no problem. It syncs and takes its number as soon as you have a connection.
Are these NICEIC or Gas Safe branded certificates?
No. Scheme-branded certificates only come from that scheme's own software. VioTrade issues our own layouts, structured around the relevant standards, with your registration number recorded on the document - which is what the customer, the landlord or the letting agent is asking for.
Does the customer get a copy?
Yes. They get the PDF by email and a link they can open any time, and you can attach the certificate to the invoice so the paperwork and the bill arrive together.
