Enquiry Forms That Ask the Right Questions
One box marked "message" tells you nothing. Build a form that asks what you actually need - the boiler make, the fuse board photo, how many zones - and stop losing two days to phone tag before you can price the job.

Sound familiar?
- Enquiries that say "need a quote for a boiler" and nothing else
- Two days of missed calls and texts before you know enough to give a price
- Driving out to look at a job a photo would have answered in ten seconds
- The same person filling the form in twice and turning into two contacts
Why tradespeople choose VioTrade
Ask what your trade needs
Build the form question by question: dropdowns, tick boxes, dates, addresses, numbers. Thirteen kinds of question, as many as the job warrants.
Photos and video with the enquiry
Ask for a photo of the boiler and flue, or a video walkaround of the roof. They arrive attached to the customer, ready on your phone before you set off.
Questions that follow the answer
Ask about the fault only when it is a repair, and the bedroom count only when it is a new install. The customer sees a short form; you get the detail.
Start from your trade
Templates for boilers and heating, electrical, roofing, plumbing, fire and security - each already asking the questions that trade needs. Change any of them.
Share it however you like
A link for a message or an email, a QR code for the van, a leaflet or the shop window, or drop the form straight onto your website.
A repeat customer stays one customer
Somebody who has been in touch before is recognised by their email or number, so a second enquiry lands on the record you already have rather than making another one.
As many forms as you want
A long one for quotes, a three-question one for callbacks, a different one per service. Each with its own link and its own QR code.
How it works
Pick a template
Start from the one built for your trade, then add or remove any question you like.
Publish and share it
You get a web address and a QR code. Send the link, print the code, or put the form on your own site.
Price it without the phone tag
The enquiry arrives as a contact with every answer and every photo against it, on the phone as well as the laptop.
Every enquiry becomes a contact in VioTrade, so the same record carries the quote, the job and the invoice that follow. The answers are kept exactly as they were asked, so an enquiry from last spring still reads the way the customer filled it in - even after you have changed the form since.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a website to use this?
No. Every form gets its own web address and a QR code, so you can send it in a message, print it on a leaflet or stick it on the van without a website anywhere. If you do have a site, you can put the form on it as well.
Can I have more than one form?
Yes, as many as you want. Most businesses end up with a long one for quote requests and a short one for callbacks, and often a different form per service.
Can I ask for photos?
Yes, photos, documents and video. They arrive attached to the customer record, so they are on your phone before you leave the yard.
What happens when somebody fills it in?
They become a contact in VioTrade with all their answers against them, and you get an email and a notification on your phone straight away. From there you quote, book and invoice them as normal.
What if I change a question later?
Older enquiries keep the wording they were actually asked under. Renaming a question changes the form from that point on, never the record of what a customer answered last year.
Can I do this from my phone?
You can create a form from a template, share the link, show the QR code and read everything that comes in, all from the phone. Adding and rearranging the questions themselves is done on the web, where there is room to work.
